You will find wonder in the world we create at Woodfordia, and every day will be extraordinary. Camping for the duration of The Planting Festival is by far the best way to immerse yourself in the festivities.
Camping gives you the opportunity to explore Woodfordia, knowing as you participate in the day’s activities your home away from home is only a short walk away. Rest your head and listen to the birds sing and the wildlife play. We recommend bringing some home luxuries along with you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Camp chairs, torches, eskies and a shade cover are just a few suggestions – but get creative.
When you camp at the festival you can embrace the entire three day programme. This year we have put together an extra special range of workshops, talks and musical treasures for you to enjoy. Heading back to your camp at the end of each day, you can reminisce on all the intimate experiences and memories, feeling warm hearted and connected to your fellow Woodfordians. Get back to your roots, toil in the soil and immerse yourself in the spirit of our Festival, knowing your truly magical experience is extended with the opportunity to be first in line to a range of incredible workshops first thing in the morning.
The days can be quite hot and the nights quite cold so come well prepared. Warm bedding and clothes are important and sunscreen and hats are always great to have. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather, so prepare for sunshine and rain.
Happiness rubs off on others and waking up every day with a good attitude always helps to keep worries at bay and adds a beautiful sense of serenity to your experience. Remember, camping beside fellow Woodfordians can trigger spontaneous conversations, so we encourage you to share your experiences and make new friends.
