Tim Cope
An award-winning adventurer, author and filmmaker. Tim’s interest in Central Asian and Russian traditional cultures led him on a three-year, 6,000-mile horseback journey from Mongolia to Hungary on the trail of Genghis Khan, helping him to understand the horseback nomads of the great Eurasian steppe.
Wang Wen-Chih
Master bamboo artist from Taiwan, Wang Wen-Chih creates large-scale architectural sculpture using bamboo and natural materials. Wang Wen-Chih has exhibited in public art spaces across the world. The stunning sculptures Woven Sky and Woven Cloud, built at Woodfordia since 2013 are examples of Wen-Chih’s mastery when created in collaborative building exercises.
Arief Rabik
Indonesian born and based Arief is the founder and director of Indo bamboo and Bali’s The Green School. With a degree in environmental science, he has used his life-long knowledge to author a book on bamboo forestry and has been developing a model for community- based bamboo forestry in Indonesia. Arief’s expertise will be utilised in the planning of the future of bamboo forest plantations at Woodfordia.
Dom Liv Kamal
A naturopath and nutritionist, Dom shares recipes and cooking ideas to help reduce inflammation and joint, muscle or bone pain.
Growing Roots Permaculture
Bunya Halasz is a garden mentor, permaculture designer and Educator with Growing Roots Permaculture – an organisation based in Northern Rivers NSW that supports gardeners to develop highly productive land management systems that create abundance for humans and the entire ecosystem.
Hogan Gleeson
A third-generation farmer, Hogan experimented with the development of an eco-village in Northern NSW, before co-creating the Ecocity Farm. The improved aquaponic food production system produces more food per square metre than any other farming system.
Rachel Smith
Rachel is an urban transport planner and an author. She didn’t buy anything new or second hand during 2014 and saved 38% of her take-home salary. She is the author of Underspent and Decongestion.
Robyn Cook
Robyn has worked with over 400 schools supporting the development of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Programs.
Sean Morrow
Sean has 24-years of experience in the landscaping industry. He is passionate about creating frog ponds and habitat gardens, organic permaculture home food production and bio-dynamics.
